On Monday April 6th a 6.5 Earthquake devastated the beautiful and historic city of L'Aquila, the heart of Abruzzi, Italy, leaving Thousands of homeless people. The death toll is yet to be known but has exceeded 280.
Please join us in this humanitarian effort to help the victims of this tragedy who have not only lost their homes but all of their personal belongings, jobs and in some cases family members.
In addition to monetary donations we are hosting two local events to be held on May 8th and May 9th.
May 8th will be a Beef & Beer held at the Claymore Center 504 South Clayton Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19805. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $25.00 each or by calling 302-633-9134.
The second event, on May 9th, will be a Dinner & Auction held at the Cavaliers Country Club 100 Addison Drive, Newark, Delaware 19702. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $100.00 each or for advance reservations please call 302-633-9134.
In either event enjoy a beautiful Italian dinner sponsored by some of the best restaurants in our area, along with fine music and an assortment of items donated by local merchants up for bid.
